Just Jim Nill doing Jim Nill things. Before he left for Dallas, he was the guy unearthing all the late round gems in Detroit that helped power them to multiple championships.

Considering Ken Holland’s track record since parting ways with Nill, you can really likely credit Nill with most of the success of the Yzerman/Lidstrom era.

I do appreciate the narrative out there that this kid doing this every game is asinine and it needs to stop.

I really hope he doesn't fight in his next game, cuz I really don't want to see Reaves have to fight him... especially if he doesn't instigate it.

Their scouts going out on a limb again. But I doubt this works out any better than Jeannott has. Provorov has been bad for a long while and the Flyers have been way better without him than they ever were with him.
