I don't do it for religious reasons, by the way. I guess it started that way by default since nobody in my family ate it and it wasn't allowed. But growing up, it always looked disgusting so I had no interest. Then I had some shitty meatball with pork in it by accident years ago, was sickened and couldn't get the awful taste out of my mouth, and so I tried it without intending to and that erased any curiosity there might've been (there was none).
