Both of them had underwater xG. One of them put 4 pucks in the net.

Also, all you've got here is arguing around the margins in a busted Kuznetsov vs Tavares conversation. Let that sink in for a second. Even if Tavares was marginally better than a guy who scored 3 more goals than he did....it's fucking Kuznetsov.

I don't care about Kuznetsov. I believe the stats being posts during and after the playoffs showed Tavares at the top of the xg charts among the Leafs.
 
Pretty sure even at the end of the series, whatever xg stats were being thrown around showed he was at the top. I don't know which in particular, but I definitely commented on it at the time, and it wasn't after like game 2 or 3.

I think I recall 101 posting a bunch of stats and my actually asking whether that meant that Tavares was basically the best player on the team by that measure then, and the answer was yes. I don't remember what specifically anymore.

@leafman101 do you remember?
