Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

it's pretty hilarious that players made such a massive stand against a cap in hockey and now most all stars just meekly accept way less than market value for their services anyways.
And I really hate how fans think they should take a paycut. Should owners take a cut in profits?

Look at the last number of cup-winning teams, and tell me which of them didn't have players who took less in order to win?

Fans aren't bright, but it's their hope is that the owners spend everything on the team, and that the players take less to fit more talent under the cap. It's our money after all.

Jenner went down with a long term upper body injury at practice. Apparently addressed his teammates after at some point. I know he has had back issues before, but that probably (definitely), should end any speculation he is moving.

the Ullmark for Korpisalo trade saved the bruins $1m on the cap.

and Korpi has 3 extra years on his contract.

trade was so bizarre. one of the best goalies in the league on a good contract traded for a longterm cap liability.

Within the division, too.

Oh well. “No more aging gudpros from Columbus” is a pretty good blanket policy anyway!

Boston gets a pp because rat face gives a dirty slew foot and gets sticked in the face as a result. Deez refs.
