I was never convinced Brodie was definitely, 100% cooked. I know personal issues affected his ability to train last offseason, and am wondering how much that impacted his play.

Yeah, Brodie's issue was mostly life stuff I think. Getting away from the fishbowl and expectations here was probably good for him as well.

I think the family stuff played a role but it wasn’t like he just fell off a cliff - his play was clearly deteriorated late in 2022-23.
