I mean, seriously, how can an organization decide that this fucking guy is the best choice? It's mind-boggling.

And you'd have to think they consult with McDavid and Drai? Did both of those guys say sure, go ahead?

It's unreal. Biff is licking his chops at the prospect of his next gig. It's like fucking tenure. Become a coach once and you will always have a job as a coach, uninterrupted, for as long as you want, unless you do something really bad in which case you'll be on the sidelines for a couple of years and then gifted another multi million dollar coaching contract. Tha fuck.

The NHL old boys club is undefeated.

A team here or there occasionally goes in a different direction, otherwise it's just the same carousel of guys rotating around the league. And once you're on that carousel it'll always bring you around to another job again if you want one. Even if you're a documented psycho like Babcock, or a dude like Quenneville or Bowman who thinks a wee bit of rape in the organization is better off ignored.
