PLD, a player that I think is inferior to Suzuki, has more value than Laine.Suzuki has more value than Laine.
The whole it's PLD for Suzuki+ was always utterly laughable to me.

I don't see them not making the playoffs nowI suspect Chevys job is in jeopardy if Jets don’t make playoffs or are jettisoned early
Especially considering Laine will earn probably 6 or 7 times Suzuki’s salary next yearPLD, a player that I think is inferior to Suzuki, has more value than Laine.

Columbus better get him inked to a contract or this is a messYes - Eric Dubois is an assistant coach with Manitoba Moose (AHL).
Most logical outcome actually.
Their D is very weak unless Pionk or Heinola step it up as big time minute eaters.I don't see them not making the playoffs now
Toronto
Montreal
Winnipeg
Calgary
Are the likely playoff teams
So what's the Habs equivalent to this deal? Is there even one for that matter? Suzuki and Caufield? I don't even think that's equal, Laine is rated better than both, for now. Roslovic I don't know much about.
yupIsn't Laine on IR?
Yup...when was the last time a Habs fan could say thankfully the young players (plural) weren’t dealt?Ouffff....Habs won this trade by a landslide
Didn't there used to be a rule that an IR player couldn't be traded?
Awright, pick back on . Columbus to finals. Too late to change it anyway. And here I had Columbus going to the finals before this all blew up. I'm not one who takes the side of management, but I blame Dubois. Not sure I want him now. Reminds me of Duchesne.
Not a chanceAwright, pick back on . Columbus to finals.

TrueNot sure , slugs on permanent IR like Horton got flipped
Jarmo already said they’ve started talking long term contract extensionIf Laine doesn't sign with Columbus he can be flipped near the trade deadline for a 1st round pick/high end prospect(s) at a minimum. Once we get closer to the deadline a whole lot contenders will have banked enough cap room to be able to add Laine in time for a late season/playoff scoring boost.
