By accident. Bergy wanted Cody Glass and Vegas said no.Always chasing that center. At least he managed to get Suzuki.

To be fair, he plays for a garbage franchise. That would kill any player's level of commitment.Tkachuk started out gang busters after agreeing to his deal last season too, then tailed off after some 25GP
they were bullied into it by McCagg and Wilde and fell for itWe all knew it would be Bergevin to reach for KK. It should have been either Hughes or Tkachuk
KK doesn’t seem like an MB type pick at all . . . but we weren’t there so who knows?they were bullied into it by McCagg and Wilde and fell for it
Is smoking pot still the biggest crime in the NFL?Not so sure about that anymore. After several black eyes they've tightened up.
Tkachuk was as sure a pick as I've ever seen in my life, but the general consensus was that he would settle as a 60ish points plug-and-play forward, which has been about accurate until this season.
Would anyone deal Dvorak for KK?KK doesn’t seem like an MB type pick at all . . . but we weren’t there so who knows?
Dvorak with the shorter term has way more market value.Would anyone deal Dvorak for KK?
I actually do think that now he may. That's how badly KK has performed offensively. He's a defensive forward and taking those at #3 is duuuuuummmmmmbDvorak with the shorter term has way more market value.
the Pez warmups will be less interesting now.
so cynicalDon't be alarmed that the league has put in this rule because of player safety. They don't give a shit whether players live or die. The actual reason, as always, is money. The Habs, for example, have a sponsorship deal with Bell that includes having stickers with the Bell logo on the players' helmets. That is the only reason for this rule.
I'm a realist. It's the NHL that's cynical. If you want to know why they do anything just follow the money.so cynical
Their “expectations” were clearly delusional.Hearing rumours that Carolina wants to move KK targeting Horvat from the Canucks
"as reported by TSN's Mike Johnson, "the Carolina Hurricanes want to win the Stanley Cup this season, and their second line center, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, really isn't living up to their expectations offensively, and he's not replacing Vincent Trocheck. [...] Adding another scorer, to replace Kotkaniemi, could really help the Canes offensively. [...] "
who would take on that 8 yr deal...Their “expectations” were clearly delusional.
