You act like he doesn't fly around and meet celebs. Toronto is a hub airport. I think too much is put towards taxes and weather when there's a team that can compensate for those taxes.
The only thing I can think of is that Toronto doesn't change anything over the next couple of years and he gets fed up. I don't even see that happening. Keefe is on death watch regardless of 103 point pace. The expectations are immense and they keep floundering from those expectations.
I have my opinions on what to do and they won't align with most but Matthews? He the last one they'll just let walk. All other players would go first imo. Rightfully so.

The stars are starting to align for HuGo to take Leafs or Sens to the cleaners w both GMs fighting to conceivably save their jobs - the only real obstacle is Yotes / Chychrun and Ducks / Klingberg (but he’s not the solution for either teams need)
