I understand the Askarov appeal, but I also recall too vividly Price depriving terrible teams from justified good picks.
We’ll need a goalie though, and Askarov would be nice, I just don’t see Poile trading him.

now now, we can't really send him to junior, it is either Laval or back to shitty Finnish/Slovakian league. I thought he played decently last night, good passes -goalie crasher intercepted one notwithstanding (should have shot on the power play). Bouncing him around the lineup is not beneficial but I am still not in favour of sending him down.

Should have been there from the start (Erie iirc). But Laval is fine too. 40 game mark is approaching.

yup , wouldnt hurt to play him on the top line for a bit

That’s the thing Slaf’s issue is adjusting to time & space vs bigger bodies since he’s always been the biggest guy on his team / league
