Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

Unlike Count and WeHave, I'm far enough away to not have developed any feelings one way or another towards the Vancouver franchise since they entered the league. To me, they have always been kind of benign, and my feelings have been neutral .

But I mean did Vancouver actually think they had a good team going into the season? They are acting like the season is some sort of huge disappointment, like they had Calgary or Edmonton expectations. That, after missing the playoffs.

If so, they were delusional from the start. Calgary, and to some degree Edmonton, have been the disappoints to date. The Canucks are sort of where we figured. The whole thing is idiotic.
 
Sadly, I had to grown up surrounded by douche bag Canuck fans; for a franchise that has won fuck all, they sure are an arrogant and uniformed bunch! As good of a player that he was, I go so tired of hearing again and again how Trevor Linden was going to be another Mario Lemiuex!

When I moved back to BC after 14 yeas of being away, my biggest fear was not the cost of living increase...it was being surrounded by retarded Canuck fans again!
 
Edmonton up 2-0 in the first. Boudreau will be replaced as coach after the period, only to reappear (possibly with a paper bag over his head) in the third as the newly-appointed coach.

If Habs management had done this sort of thing to Therrien I'd be okay with it and I doubt many Habs fans would have a problem with it either since Therrien treated his players like shit. But it looks like Boudreau was actually respected by his players.
