I dunno man, you've got generational money staring you in the face, in the prime of your career, with the permission to choose where you want to play and you're holding out so that you could maybe get an extra $500k-$750k / year if things go well?

I hope for him that his play doesn't drop off or he gets seriously injured. Gavrikov's a good player, but...

Regardless of what you think they should do, they’re trying to win now. Gavrikov fit in nicely with their team last year and they were better with him.

Cole got financial security for life

He already had a major injury and got a very fair contract

Why bother taking a short bridge in the 6 range and risk another injury , take the money like Josh Norris did

At 30 and still productive there is more moola waiting for him
