Now I'm really curious: How much is Rasmus Dahlin going to get?

He's probably the only Toronto media guy who isn't a total fanboy. Unlike Steve Dangle he isn't doing a schtick. When he gets pissed off he's actually pissed off. And he shit on the Matthews contract from a great height as he should and he called out the fans and media for being happy about the deal as proof that the Toronto market isn't nearly as "tough" as people say. He was calling out the Leafs during the playoffs long before they actually got eliminated. I imagine that a lot of pompom waving Leafs fans like you see on Facebook probably don't like him because he doesn't get on his knees for the blue and white. They slag him like Habs pompom wavers slag Brendan Kelly because he refuses to drink the kool-aid.

Sid is the only guy on TV in that city who is still engaged with objective reality when it comes to their hockey team.

I will be in the minority but I think Jake might be as good as Dahlin in a few years

I dont think Dahlin goes 8 years ....6x 9.5

Well …. Sid is also a diehard Habs fan
 
Maxime Comptois got a PTO with Las Vegas, Adam Erne a PTO with Deadmonton.

Kind of surprised nobody gave Comptois a contract, whether one-way or two-way.
