I don't think Bedard will ever become a Crosby/McDavid level of player, but I still maintain that a Patrick Kane comparison is very fair.

A yearly candidate for the Art Ross and just a god damn blast to watch. Assuming his injuries aren't going to slow him down too bad, Patrick Kane has a good shot to finish with 1,500 points when his career's over. If Bedard comes close to that, that's one hell of a player.

Kane was my comp ....and that is hell of a first overall pick

He will have 3 years of playing with trash that wont help pad his stats

yeah, you and I have never made that comparison,,, Dak is what he is a 4th rd draft pick with a tragic family history who fights and claws to be an NFL starter.

I wouldn't trade a Sergachev for him but Laffy could be a good "buy low" pick-up. If anyone could coax a performance out of him it would be MSL.

Gorton drafted him. He'll be interested if Laffy goes on the market. I have no issue so long as the price isn't exorbitant. He fits into our timeline.

I don't think my poodle Laffy aka Lafayette would make a good LW for us, he's kind of small.
