Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

I don't know where the bar is set in the UK's legal system but a manslaughter charge seems appropriate. Depraved indifference. The guy needs to do time.

It was just so unnatural looking... I've never seen someone "fall/fly" like that. It especially looked bizarre, given the minimal contact.
Ya but I'm not sure how you can prove anything from the video. Unnatural looking shouldn't be a high enough standard to convict.

I have no idea, to be honest. I can only go by what it looks like to me. It appears that he recklessly and intentionally threw (for lack of a better description) his leg at Johnson to stop him/knock him off the puck. I don't believe for a second that he thought he's cut him, or even hit him that high. If I'm not mistaken, that would be the definition of manslaughter.

Of course, that's just my interpretation of the video. I'm not sure if the court will see it the same.

He'd be the Finnish Ovechkin if he had Gallagher's mind.

He has all the physical gifts people could only dream of. Size, strength, skating, shot... But a Dollarama brain. A real shame.
Armia and I fear Slafkovsky

Supposedly, he is still getting his chances, he's just hitting a bad luck streak which looks worse at the beginning of the season. The only significant difference in his play is that he is shooting the puck at an average distance that is ~ 3 feet farther out from the net. Most likely because they are asking him to play centre, which will probably be a failed experiment. Too bad he makes so much money, otherwise it's worth the gamble to take a flyer on him and just have him play wing.
