Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

giving money to HC is in our name, benefited us more than the billions we put into Zelensky and Zelenska's pockets
What has Hockey Canada done for us that wouldn't have been done had they never existed? You make it sound like amateur hockey couldn't exist without them.

I hate to break this to you but hockey is not an essential service and it benefits no one other than the people making money from it. The money we're giving to the Ukrainians is benefitting you because your son is not being drafted into the army and sent to the steppe right now.

you have a strange obsession with wanting my son to die for a corrupt regime

Remember when some people questioned whether we would have kept 15 instead of Nick?

Well Judas has a whopping 18 points in 50 games, is on the fourth line now and hasn't scored a goal since December nor gotten a point since Jan 15 iirc.

The man is playing himself out of the league

Buyout in 2 years but he got paid

Eastern conference starting to sort itself out. Washington is toast, Pittsburgh is on the precipice and NYI didn’t get the electroshock they needed. This will change the deadline market, so it was good to move Monahan early.
A tough win over NYR tonight combined w Pens loss and Habs jump two teams tied w Caps & 6-back of wildcard, Det should lose to Van.

Wouldn’t it be something if HuGo pulls a Zegras deadline deal - expected back from injury in 2-3 weeks…

And then we go on another improbable and undeserved cup run 😄

We won the trade, despite what the Subban fans who hated it just because it was Subban think. Nashville got to the finals for a lot of reasons, none of which had much to do with Subban, who was a second pair guy for them. But without Weber the Habs don't go to the finals in 2021. His presence, while not as flashy as PK's, was more impactful.

I get the gist ….but there was some guy named Price on that team who had significant impact

2nd game in two nights, I know, but one would likely bet on Pittsburgh beating Chicago. Of course… we said that last year.
