It is for that. The line was 2 hours long and there wasn't a round eye among them. They're all realtors working on behalf of foreign buyers. None of the people in line are looking for a home, they're looking for an investment property to flip for a profit. They are the literal reason why people can't afford homes.

90s & into early 2000s also. It’s stabilized & turned the corner over last 10-12 years, due to huge immigration boom

Large contingent of young population from France - Plateau mtl has essentially become little Paris

Basketball, baseball and football players do it all the time (less so football because you are actually one hit away from losing your career). If he doesn't want to be here, 90 million won't make him want to be a Cannot any more than he does now. He will get his money somewhere.

Hockey players are too dumb to realize they don't have to cave in all the time.

Basketball players don't give a shit about winning. They are way too obsessed with having "street cred" so they always want to max out. Money is all that matters. In hockey, most Canadian players and Euroweenie players are too polite to play hardball. But American born players and Russians are total mercenaries.
