Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

It was more of an issue before revenue sharing. Money for the most part is not an issue for the teams, but attracting players is.
of course we get fucked because we never benefited from the currency equalization AND paid into it

I hate revenue sharing as I hate paying money to other teams who can't make $$ who use it to beat us
 
I'd argue a team that has Ben Chiarot playing nearly 20 minutes / game and Jeff Petry at playing nearly 19 minutes / game at this point in his career, while having a goalie triplex of Lyon/Reimer/Husso and having a very underwhelming offense would have more to do with it than Detroit lacking sand paper types.

It's just a bad roster. Nothing more to it, really.
