Tampa Bay got rid of the three best players in the history of their franchise in unceremonious fashion: Lecavalier buyout, St. Louis asked to be traded and Stamkos was let go.

It hurt literally nothing with that franchise. If anything, all of those decisions (TBD with Stamkos) were the right ones long-term. The way they treated Stamkos didn't hamper them from getting Guentzel and doesn't seem to stop them from re-signing Hedman.

It’s a business first. 4X8 was a non starter for Stammer

Players don’t give a fuck , just get paid and owners need to do what’s best for their team

Players give a fuck. Its business first but all it takes is letting player know. Its called respect.
