Ya. Just won the whl title. Put up 2 ppg in the whl, played 6 games on AHL and had 5 points.

True but FFS get more in return , this is a top 25 prospect in the game

Buffalo needed to unload some kids but this is not the way to do it

Just jaw dropping idiocy, had they shopped Savoie properly they could have gotten more.

This almost smells like a life after the Sabres type deal with Adams. He's on thin ice and will need to land somewhere. It'll be interesting to see if that somewhere is the Oilers.
 
I actually didn’t believe it when I was at work and the guys said about the trade. Everyone there was like “No Way!” We all figured Edmonton had to have attached a pick as well but nope! Good job by Jeff Jackson so far this off-season!
 
Gotta be recency bias because they went to the cup. Makes zero sense.

Watch out for Jason and the Argonauts coming for that golden fleece job Jackson.

He hasn’t asked. I believe he’s a Harvard grad. You’d think he’d be smarter but he’s also probably under significant pressure to make the playoffs now. I mean it’s only been 13 seasons . . . and counting.
 
Harvard doesn't mean shit in hockey when you're dealing with highly educated billetted GMs
