I've never been a fan of 'cycling at night. It's near-impossible to see cyclists from a car when it's dark. They were hit by this guy passing on the right. Reminds me of the time I almost got hit by a streaking pickup truck last year while cycling.
Yeah, you can do things like wear brighter clothing and have the lights on, but there's always a risk at night, especially keeping in mind there's always the possibility of a drunken idiot behind the wheel. That said, I'm charging the USB lights right now.I've never been a fan of 'cycling at night. It's near-impossible to see cyclists from a car when it's dark.
Always have to make it political eh? I've seen drunk drivers driving and killing people in the bike lane as well.Apparently the guy who hit them was shitfaced. He was weaving in and out of traffic. A truck in the right hand lane pulled over to the left lane in front of the drunk guy to go around the 2 Goudreau's and this clown decided he was going to pass the truck on the right side. He swerved into the right hand lane and ran right into them.
But "wasting my tax dollars on those fucking bike lanes" amirite?

Sure but the hammered driver was able to avoid the car.Especially when the driver is hammered.
Buddy of mine is paralyzed from cycling with friends , too many dumb fucks on the road killing or injuring innocent peopleThey were hit by this guy passing on the right. Reminds me of the time I almost got hit by a streaking pickup truck last year while cycling.
My close call was on a weekend afternoon in midtown. Even during the day, better to just stick with the paths in the park or along the river when possible and not have to deal with the cars.Buddy of mine is paralyzed from cycling with friends , too many dumb fucks on the road killing or injuring innocent people
