Okay so I dropped all the players (prospects) that Tully picked who he shouldn't have. I will do the same with Bull once he cancels his waiver requests.

Was there anyone else who accidentally drafted rookies?

I think I will allow the people who did to have first crack at the FAs.

I think the best peice of advice going forward at next year's draft is to keep the keeper's thread open and use the Ctrl+F to search. I know there was a lot of chatter and groaning about time, but I found 1 minute ample time-- sometimes tight and soemtimes very close, but overall adequate.

Yeah I gave that advice pre draft.

Also, anyone that can't make it to the draft NEEDS to go to the "Pre-Draft Rankings" and remove all the "prospects" that could possibly be taken. This would take all of maybe 5-10 minutes.

We had similar issues with the football league in the past. It just sucks all around. I think Kritter added a couple of owned rooks as well.

Definitely give these guys first dibs on the FA's. Next time I guess we will have to take a more pro-active approach and confirm adding top rooks to rosters before the draft, and that anyone who can't make the draft has pre-ranked. I mean it's silly that Tarasenko and McDavid were in the FA pool. It should be up to the individual teams to take care of this, but in fairness we did have a few new managers who probably haven't been through a draft like this before.

Maybe H4L can drop in and give a motivational speech. If I remember correctly, I think he mentioned having this happening to him last year, and still finishing 4th.

Yeah it really sucks. And it turned out to be the newest guys who had the most trouble. I really felt I did a thorough job in telling people to avoid this. It seems that I was wrong.

For sure, I am going to get a list from each of them then dole out the players they prefer.

I asked everyone for a list of prospects they wanted to have added. Not many took me up on the offer. I had a feeling this might happen.

I did, but I dropped him on my own. I'm a strong independent man
