Game 57 - Kraken @ Leafs - Kraken Some Skulls Tonight

I think last night was one of the best games of the year for him. He is looking mighty fucking fine with Mo. Not a lot of guys have looked very good with Mo this year so that's damn impressive. Poor Bourne.

Look at Lilly's GSVA go.

Had a 85% xGF with Mo against the Jackets (Mo had a 80%)

Only a 58.5% against Vancouver though....

Can't draw too many conclusions from small samples, but his audition with Rielly is going way better than Ras' did.

Holl & Brodie have struggled hard the last few games too. Completely buried. Hard to make a call on what to do with this blueline at the moment.

At what point do you start to consider this for the playoffs:

Rielly-Lilly
Muzzin-Holl
Sandin-Brodie

And just divide the heavy lifting across all 3 pairings? None of them need to be sheltered, but none of them are probably trustworthy in a heavy matchup roll.

Wonder if handedness was the culprit. Some guys just can't do it.

Also, Lilly has been under the radar great. Especially in the tougher matchups since Holl got demoted/Muzz hurt.

Last 10 games 60.1 CF% and 65.4 xGF%. I know he has been up and down the lineup, but some of that is against toughs. Meanwhile Ras's #s have taken a hit over that span with the increased workload.

I like the concept, but I'm legit concerned about Muzz and Holl together.

I fear our supposed shutdown pair might be the weakest one when things get faster and tougher in the playoffs.

Muzz-Holl is fine, better than fine as a pairing really.

Muzz-Holl playing every 5v5 minute against opposition best is less than fine short of a stunning return to form from Muzz.
