GDT #14: 2024/11/05 - Bruins @ Leafs - Nothing else going on tonight, right?

If there's one thing Tre likes to do, it's sign guys.

He needs to get Knies' signature on a long extension yesterday. Not sure why he hasn't already. Do we always have to wait for guys to put up big numbers before we lock them up?

Dubas, in his book admitted that he could have gotten the deals with the super kids done a year earlier than he did. Considers it one of his biggest mistakes doing them after the Tavares contract.
That's then, and for all we know Knies has Matthews' whispering in his ear.

Point is we don't know. Both sides love money

This game kinda shows that there is too much sacrifice going on to get the puck to Matty when hes playing....especially on the PP. Team seems more than capable of performing better without that distraction.

Except they don't actually sacrifice anything to get Matthews the puck. They're passing it to him when it's 35+ feet from the net. They don't utilize his gravity at all.
