Boy that extra pound is massive! Now that Thornton and Simmonds are out I think the team you ice will be lighter too.

Maple Leafs? Blue? Sctroumpfs? Sure why not. It'll be Shtroumpfs against Smurfs for the battle of the blue little fuckers.

Anyone else expecting a tight checking game? I don't think the Habs will want to run and gun with the Leafs.
 
This will be a test of Keefe and co of being able to implement his system against a team that is coached by a guy that usually has great systems in place.
 


petan getting a shot on the top PP unit.

but i'm more interested in seeing how Mikheyev looks on the PP. he's had zero PP time so far in the nhl.

Without Simmonds I expect the Habs to play extra tough, use some of that size we've been hearing about.

I hate that I always feel like the Habs get up for these games more than the Leafs.

They seem to play you guys better in Toronto though, not at home, which has always frustrated me to watch.

Most of the size is on the blue line, that's where the bruising happens.
 
You realize Barabanov can cross check too?

Shouldn’t be a badge of honor to have dirty fucks out there trying to injure stars because they can’t contain them.

Maybe Boyd can give Suzuki a nice knee on knee how do ya do.

Suzuki doesn't park in front of the net. Crosschecks are fuel for Gallagher as he eats about a dozen of them a game. Perry is a mean fuck, go ahead and crosscheck him then watch for the sneaky slash later. He's so bloody good at slashing when the refs aren't looking. Had not realized that until he started playing for us.

Why is this all good? They should outlaw this garbage so crap teams have to actually play by the book.
