Imo the habs should trade Suzuki. He’s a guy they can probably trade for a huge haul, and I just don’t see him as a guy who will lead them anywhere or who is a necessary piece if they ever take the next step.

They're very close to needing to just start over.

Caufield has goals, but isn't playing well according to everything I've seen and heard. Slaf is looking like a bust again. Guhle is good, but not that good. Hutson could be a star, but not with this cast of characters. Reinbacher losing a full year, was he really good to begin with? Both goalies look like shit. Anderson and Gallagher contracts still anchors. Demidov may be something, but enough to make up for all of this? Very doubtful. They took a major step back this year.

This is the issue with many young NHL teams. Their cores just aren't good enough, That's why Ottawa is spinning-their-wheels
