they've won 3 in a row and it kinda feels like the oilers are warming up....but that might be a bit of an illusion. Since mcdavd got back from injury they lost solidly to vegas, then had one very good win 7-3 against the nucks....but while they've also won their last 2gms they were OT squeakers against two teams struggling badly this year in NYI and NSH.
Unsurprisingly to me the oilers additions - like skinner, arvidsson - have been pretty dudly so far. and they're joined by Hyman and RNH struggling,.....which is never a surprise giveen everyone knows they're purely complementary players and are only good when McDrai are good. But with al those struggles the oilers supposed improved depth this year had landed Drai with Perry and Podkolzin as his wingers nearing the 1/4 pole of the season.
I was hoping to have Matthews back for this one though. It'll be tough without him. You know McDrai will be up for it. on saturday night in toronto.
