ok so no more joking around.
Matthews seems to be getting back to form. McCabe is back. We're missing only one clearcut top-9 forward in McMann, who should be back next game.
We've got a trio of games to end the week that are not only against bottom feeders, but bottom feeders that are playing really really fucking badly.
ANA: 4gm losing streak, won 1 of last 6, won 2 of last 9
DET: won 1 of last 6 (an OT win v BUF last game), and 4 of last 13
BUF: lost 8 games in a row now
3 very shitty teams playing their worst hockey.
Duck l'Orange, Buffalo Burgers, Hot Wings. Time to fucking Eat.
This should be 3gms of poundage, both on the scoreboard and on the nerdies. The perfect time for an offensive breakout.
on the other hand - these fucking leafs.
Two things to kinda worry about with the Ducks - Dostal is actually a good goalie and can stand on his head, and Trouba is a miserable asshole who is probably really embarassed and pissed off and is quite likely to use a big media game against the Leafs to go headhunting against our best players. So heads up.
