GDT #31: 2024/12/18 - are we having fun yet

A bit of a test tonight. We seem to always beat Dallas though. And apparently they have a bit of a flu thing going on. Hope we don't catch it.

could see a swing in the standings tonight too. Leafs are sitting in 8th atm, and could move to 7th with a win, just a point out of 5th. But the three teams nipping at their heels are all playing tonight (DAL, FLA, VAN), and if the Leafs lose they could find themselves in 11th spot.

But mostly we all just want to see if the 2nd half of last game was some kind of actual breakthrough offensively or just the sabres sucking ass.

other than their bizarre D acquisitions, Nill has built a pretty decent roster.

it's a good roster, but maybe not quite as great as some made it out to be now that it seems Robertson and Hintz aren't actually legit elite offensive studs.

and man does it seem fortunate that Duchene wanted to sign for peanuts with them to be their actual #1C.
