High flying jets come to town. They've been solid defensively this year backstopped by the best goalie in the league this year, while being averagish offensively. Not any legit elite guys up front but solid scoring depth.

IMO we outplayed both the high flying Oilers and the high flying Canucks, only to lose because the Marty Jones Bubble burst on us. So it would be real nice if Sammy could come in and be not-disastrous for the 2nd game in a row, which with our recent play should be good enough to beat most teams.

Jets are resting Hellebuyck and are missing Scheifele and Vilardi, arguably their two best forwards this year, so that's a nice bonus. Broissoit is no slouch in net tho, so he probably won't hand this one to us.

Wasn't Kyle Connor challenging Matthews in the scoring race prior to injury? I'd say he's pretty good.

yup with a little scoreboard luck.

a couple wins here before the break to maybe get us into the top-10 for the long break would be a nice relief.
