Btw my son knows guys who played against him in roller hockey in North Van, apparently he is full of shit re never eating fast food and is a weirdo. Kids thought he was a hockey prodigy but on the spectrum.
 
It wouldn't surprise me.

Bedard seems to be like Crosby: A guy who just wants to play hockey and hates the cameras.

A lot of what they say is just generic, boring, cookie-cutter bullshit.

yeah I almost barfed when 97 said he just hoped he could make our Olympic team. It's like Gretzky claiming he wasn't the best player. Contrast that with Draymond Green who said he was the best defender and when asked why he said that, answered, that if he didn't feel that way, he had already lost.

Just like I know there are better lawyers in my area but I tell people me if asked who the best is.

A guy on the spectrum with his skill would actually be preferable because he will be singularly focused on hockey. He won't be carousing until 3am every night, no hookers, no blow, no outside interests.

I'll bet out mutual acquaintance Sherwin wouldn't pimp himself as the best (partly his personality and partly because he probably knows he isn't)

Nor have I. The person through whom I knew him only knew him because his then-wife was besties with Sherwin's wife. But both my friend and Sherwin got divorced (Sherwin's ex eventually passed away from cancer) and my friend moved back to Montreal.

Chicago has at least five players I've never heard of.
