Take on the Red Wings for first place tomorrow.

We have won four straight against them dating back the last couple of years.

This is the right move - is Fowler plays a good game… he’s in pole position to win starting job

I assume Dobes gets VCR.

Then 3 headed monster to Olympic break, then Fowler and Dobes to Laval for Olympic break and then (only) Fowler gets called back up.

With a strong performance tonight, I suspect Fowler locks up starters job till Olympic break when Habs will reevaluate how Fowler performed from mid-Jan to Olympic break as starter

Process also allows Dobes to continue to work on his mechanics in Laval & Diekembe to improve lost luster… potentially trade bait at deadline

Probability is starting to skew towards Fowler taking over Habs starting G role - a strong performance tonight pretty much cements it
