I know we shit on Dvorak and rightfully so but he did his job last night.

He's a very meh/bland player, but he generally do his job, which is why coaches like him. He just doesn't provide much outside of that.

I wonder if he is one of those players that look better live. That happened to me with Anderson in a game I went to a couple of years back.

Anderson doesn't dog it out there but he's just so goddamn dumb sometimes. Newhook is another with a room temperature hockey IQ. Dvorak and Armia, while limited skills wise, are not dumb.
