GDT | Game 69 | vs Avalance | Saturday, March 22nd | 7:00 PM EDT

Way to tell Dobes that you don't trust him.

They're riding Monty too much.
Lest we forget, a significant aspect of “in da mix” is to evaluate how many of the young elements of this team are affected / possess ability to overcome the obstacles presented with higher intensity games.

Diekembe is 2-yrs from UFA, regardless if Fowler is the future in nets, HuGo need to properly evaluate Monty’s response to taking on the workload associated with being a “go to G” in high intensity games - this is his first time being given this workload + being leaned on to deliver performance-wise under said conditions

Also, increasing Diekembe’s market value as a starter, can only be achieved by riding him in current situation.

He’s given up 3-4 goals a playoff starter can’t give up in last 2GP, does he have the ability to quickly adapt from it? We will find out..

Dobes is here to stay as backup next couple of years, and will get starts on back-to-backs

By your logic they would want to see more of what they have in Dobes. This is a MSL decision not upper management.

When Monty gets tired, they go on losing streaks. I don't know what more there is to see. This was evidenced by the 1-7-1 stretch before the break. After getting rest? 8-1-3. It's pretty clear.

The TEAM was worn out after having the most dense 40-day schedule in the NHL leading up to 4-Nations - compounded by Heineken’s injury increasing workload on 11F

Post 4-Nations play reflects a rested TEAM w Heineken back in the lineup + external circumstances creating a strong sense of purpose
