Carolina takes their popgun offense to the Canadian plains to face off against the Winnipeg Jets tonight before returning to NC for consecutive home games for only the 3rd time all season. Both teams sit solidly in the playoff picture, but while the Canes are starting to look very frustrated, the Jets have been a bit of a pleasant surprise after a rough 21-22 season. Neither team has been scoring a ton, so buckle in for a bit of a tactical battle of conflicting systems. The Jets are more of a trap and transition team while the Canes bring the pressure much higher up the ice. No morning info yet, but you'd assume Carolina will stick to their goaltending rotation while the Jets have no reason not to keep riding the resurgent Connor Hellebuyck who is back on Vezina finalist form after a couple of rough years. Both teams last played on Saturday so this one "normal" in terms of relative rest.
