I don't even know whether it's better to move up or down in the standings anymore.

Those two Tampa games at the end of the season will be YYYUUUUGGE.

I really think it would be best if we lose them and face the Rangers or the Canes. Florida is saving their energy right now to just smash whomever they play in the first round. Let them do that to Tampa. Rangers play tough but not like Florida, Canes not too physical either and I believe in Freddie in the playoffs... and Matthews can hurt fred and Shesterkin.

Go in like Florida did last year... just get in.
 
I think florida's getting overrated myself. They're good but i don't know why people think they're some unstoppable beast.

and i dunno why people treat them like broadway bullies. Tkachuk, Bennett, Mikkola, Kulikov? Is that really some kind of terrifying physical presence?

Considering our home playoff record vs our road playoff record with Keefe as coach, and what happened last year when we got Florida instead of Boston, there really isn’t any reason for any Leaf fan to give a single solitary fuck about who our 1st round opponent is and whether or not we get home ice.

All that matters is that we do actually get in, then let the die be cast from there.
 
Really hard to know what’s happening at the top of the standings anyways. Either Boston or Florida could win the division. Either canes or rangers could win that division. And we don’t know which division will hold that overall #1 seed. Not enough info to know what’s good or bad for the leafs to be a wild card vs #3. On paper I like the Boston or canes match the most for round 1
