Mod Squad
The loss to the Panthers were sure disappointing, but tonight we get to redeem ourselves vs. the Stamkos-less Bolts.
The Bolts might be a little dejected after learning Stamkos is gonna be out for a few more weeks at least, or they may also more motivated than ever to continue the march without Stamkos. What they have done since losing their superstar has been nothing short of surprising though, and the Bolts are definitely a top team in the East, and a good measuring stick for the inconsistent buds.
The Leafs snapped a good run last game by playing one of the most embarrassing games - and that comes at the heel of a few really suspect moves by Carlyle too, including bumping McClement back to 3rd line role and 3rd line minutes, inserting Clarkson back in the lineup (who did score though) and dressing both Orr and McLaren again.
I hope to see Holland soon ... I really don't want McClement with 10+ minutes again.
BUt this team also gotta respond much better than they did vs. the lowly Panthers.
Let's hope it's a good bounce-back game tonight.
Go Leafs Go!!!
