GDT - Sabres @ Toronto | 7:00PM TSN - SCREW YOU FAN590, just win!

number17

Mod Squad
Since nobody's started the GDT yet, I'll have to do it ... let's hope I don't ruin their luck.

This will be the 3rd time we face the Sabres, whose hope for the season at this point is finish as low as they can - at least for the fans. Yet, we can't beat them in both cases, and we'll get another shot tonight.

We played last night, but so did the lowly Sabres, so there's really no excuse.

Miller gets the start for them, Reimer is most likely gonna get the start for us tonight.

IF we win tonight's game (and it's an IF anytime we face Miller) it'd be 3 in a row, which sorta stops the bleeding and get us back on a bit of a run. We'll need every point we can the rest of the way just to make playoff, thanks for the terrible Nov and Dec.

The team should have plenty of confident now we beat our nemesis and the Eastern champ - in regulation too!

Reimer will be rusty, at the very least, so let's hope we play a smart road game tonight and limit on the Sabres' chances.

Go Leafs Go!!!

Re: GDT - Sabres @ Toronto | 7:00PM TSN - Third time the charm

This is actually the 4th time we've played them, we're 1-1-1 in the first 3.

Fair enough ... another proof you have to be an idiot to be a sports station radio host ... that's what FAN590 was telling me over their lunch hour show. Sigh.

Re: GDT - Sabres @ Toronto | 7:00PM TSN - Third time the charm

This is a must win for the Leafs and really a game they should win that being said this is a classic "trap game". The Leafs are coming off a big win in Boston and they are known to get ****y after a big win and follow it up with a big loss the following game, lets just hope they have done some growing up and realized a win is just a win and they have to treat the next game as a brand new one starting from scratch.

I wonder if Reimer is still feeling that flu? This is a scary one, hopefully all the Leaf fans there will give us a boost, get the legs going...and score us a shitload of goals.

Very important game for the Leafs to keep their improved play going. If not, jeepers, this team could well end up sinking out of the playoffs. If Carlyle keeps up the line usage from last night, they should be good to win.
