My glove hand was my strong suit, I favored it, always gave the top corner baiting the shooter to go upstairs.. to get my fast glove hand i use to take a tennis ball and and throw it hard against a cement wall while keeping my head pointing straight ahead, I start 15 feet away and then move in until i was a foot away.. I use to teach that to the goalies I coached, ie: pooge /slade.. the REAL issue with the glove today is positioning of the glove hand.. goalies today position the glove high which slows down reaction to lower shots below the glove.. moving your glove UP is a lot faster than moving it down..
