It's a bullshit distraction. Therrien can't handle the fact that a coach (and one with no prior coaching experience to boot) doing basically the opposite of everything he would do, is having success. Every time MSL puts a rookie on the ice in a situation where MT would have nailed that rookie to the bench it's a repudiation of his dinosaur coaching philosophy.
His only hope of ever getting another gig is if Quebec City gets a team and decides to hire a bunch of "ti-gars de chez nous" (which would be a typical PK Peladeau move) Otherwise his career in the NHL is over and he knows it. He isn't articulate or engaging enough to work in broadcasting full time so he'll be doubly jealous when PK Subban gets a TV gig.

If Suzuki or Caufield win it for the year, it will be the first time forwards have won two years in a row since 97/98 when a pre-medical Dr. Recchi won his second straight. Hackett had 2, Theodore 4, Huet 1, Halak 1, and Price dwarfing all with 9.
It sure is nice to see this team finally forming a new identity.
