Maybe he'll be fine, but I don't like it anytime an athlete has to get surgery that requires months and months of rehab.

I'm far from being a medical expert, but since he's young and surrounded by a professional medical staff and rehab people, I'm confident in saying he'll be OK.

Here's what I see happening, the xGF will plummet to last. If it's a full point under the rest? Yes they can.

Exactly. One out of every 5 goals we've scored this season belonged to Caufield. Take him out of the equation with pretty much nobody to pick up the slack and the losses will mount quickly.

Who will pass us exactly? Van/SJ aren't good, and they are both dumping their top players. We might even end up higher the way we are playing lately. Those are the only teams that might and they won't especially after Horvat/Timo/Karlsson are traded. Forget ARI/ANA, they are too far below us now. So ya, we have to hope Ott/Van win tonight.

Iirc Point was brought up as an emergency recall by TBay in his D+2 season & played vs Habs in fact, prior to becoming a regular at the start of the next season

one game is not a test run, he can only be called up because we have nothing else to call up due to missing 12-13 guys
