The Avalanche immediately announced that Lehkonen broke a finger and would miss 4-6 weeks. But in HuGoland we're still wondering about the mysterious "illness" that Kirby Dach had six weeks ago, from which he still can't play.

The Dach thing is probably the most glaring example of non transparency. This is a player who is young and needs to play to grow his game. If they are holding him out longer than necessary, then its shameful.

Gainey was stupid trading McDonough for Gomez. We all knew that was a bad one at the time.

Then comes Bergevin to say hold my beer.

Drouin has immense talent, he is struggling hard. Can't get the meds in order and doesn't take them all the time because it effects his play is what I hear. Purely anecdotal by someone close to the family. C'est tout.

Drouin doesn't drive to the net anymore at all, to try and score. That severely limits his game.

I've been watching it after every game and this team finally is playing like the underlying numbers say they should be playing.

Third last was my mark in early January. Still doable, as is now 31st. West coast teams keep picking up points because they suck. Those 3 point games are our friend. Look at the loser points for those teams ahead of us in the standings. TYVM western conference.
