Yes that's what I meant. I'm not going to turn down a 1st round pick+ for him if offered but right now he's useful and cap hit is fine.

Yah, I’m just banking on a desperate GM and a weird history of decent playoff performances by Armia. He appears to be narcoleptic during regular seasons.

I'm in no rush to trade Armia because of what Habsy mentioned. We're not so desperate for capspace that we need to be giving up assets to create some.

I would, however, buy out Hoffman the second we're allowed to.

I'm still of the opinion that we should be looking around the league and offering ourselves up to take on bad contracts from other teams.

Call LA and ask what they would give up for us to take Alex Petersen, call Vancouver and ask them what they would give up for us to take Conor Garland, etc.

I’m only interested in bad contracts with a year remaining. 2 years would need an exceptional return, starting with an unprotected 1st. I’m not even considering 3 years+ contracts.
