They played relatively well in the last three games, these would have been routine losses in the recent past. These games were competitive, though the talent gap is apparent.

And… the brain cramps. They are magnified in these close games. There seems to be at least one that leads to a goal in each game.

I would note that the league and their equipment sponsors are likely aware that women and girls in North America helped propel registration and spending growth over that last two decades. So, yeah, inclusion. One certainly doesn’t want to needlessly exclude.

I expect Ottawa and Buffalo to pass us in the standings, only CBJ is worse than us on paper in the East, and Chicago, Ducks and Sharks in the West, so I expect/hope for no better than 5th last.
