All I want from this next phase of kids is no slugs on the top 6 and a few top 2-4 , I dont see a stud 1D

No more douchebags that had to be inserted by default like Ouellete and others

Also have some depth in Laval for emergencies

Shane Kelly, the analytics guru guy was on TSN690 today. Said the habs D corp is too much of the same defenseman. They all have some decent aspects to their game but collectively they are poor puck carriers, that's why they struggle in transition from defense to offense. Barron needs to go down to Laval to work on his stickhandling skills. He has decent size and physicality, skates well but puck handling sucks. Seems more and more that the Habs sorely need a Hutson like player in their lineup.

we always have a bunch of the same, all small or all slow etc.
