Habs Season Thread: 2024-25 Regular Season

There’s no sense in using carefully acquired and scarce resources on dumping players whose contracts expire after 24-25.

Gallagher and Anderson, yeah. Maybe use something to get away from those contracts.

If we had a francophone GM this team would have traded the farm for PLD. So yes, some of my confidence in HuGo stems from the fact that they are competent anglos instead of reactionary, thin skinned francophones.
 
I will always have a hard time building up interest in players who have proven to me that they'll quit.

It's one thing if there's speculation and whispers, it's another when he does it in front of everyone for the world to see.

Dubois quit in Columbus, looked like he quit in Winnipeg. Now he got paid and isn't giving the same type of effort? Color me shocked, I never would have seen it coming.

I'm not a fan but he had a career year with the jets before being traded.

Did he quit or is that just what he is?
