The 2026-2027 season shouldn't, in theory, be difficult, but Dach needs a new contract for that season. If he explodes and stays healthy, he might be the next one in the $7M group. Matheson will need a new deal by then, and I think they would be foolish to re-sign, but if they do, he'll need to get paid.
Guhle's going to looking for a new contract and he won't come cheap. There's a good chance he gets a contract in the neighborhood of what Hampus Lindholm got, ie 8 x $6.5M.
And by then, who knows, maybe they're starting to spend money on established NHLers... anyway, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
