Thats the point, its so unlikely, unless a bulk of those games are against teams also on a back to back. I know how this team performs on the 2nd game of back to backs , they get outshot 37-22 and hope the goalie bails them out.
 
More than half the teams have 13 or more BTB with many having 14. You're making this out to be more egregious than it is. Furthermore we play 13 times with the opponent on a BTB.

Lastly, the schedule of the bell center plays a big part of it. Teams with popular venues seem to have the most BTB on that list.

Let's keep it in context people.

Bottom line, they dont do well on B to B and the league gave them the most. I think Boston last year had a crazy good B to B record, because they play a more structured game.

Bigger issue is that we had a losing record when facing teams on a b2b game. But we finished 28th and were pretty much bottom 5 in most categories so we have a lot of fixing to do before complaining about the schedule.
