ALL tournaments not named the Stanley Cup playoffs are useless and irrelevant. Risking injury to your star players in such meaningress exhibitions is moronic in the extreme.

Why? I don't watch Olympics hockey so why would I watch this crap? I check the final scores just so I can ridicule the meaninglessness of it all but I don't actually watch any of it.

Canada needs a win, nothing brings us together like a men's hockey team winning the Olympics. This country is divided and needs something to bring is together.

That said, a hockey tournament without Russian participation is meh
