And why won’t he do it “year over year?” He’s the fastest to 50 goals in Habs history and has scored lots of goals at every level since he was kid. I think he’s a near-lock to keep producing, especially in the modern high-scoring (again) NHL.

The difference in play between now & when he got here is pretty remarkable.

You could tell he had the tools.. the thing that separates goalies is their mindset.. that is the question, can he handle it in Montreal.. so far i like his improvement

With Allen in the tandem it’ll be more like 45 game for Montembeault. I’d go as high as 2.5, if you look at comparables.

Habs have always been good at developing goalies, it's kind of their thing.
